No one can bring me down

With my blood in my hands I am greeting the new day

I’ve just killed my last night

She was sweet she was good she had everything I want

But she happened to be my last night

I’m the victim I’m the murderer where’s the man who thinks can judge me

I’m a rich old man I’m a poor little boy and no one can bring me down

There’s a saying that says that good things cannot be said

They can only be sung

But the words of the songs never seem to be enough

There is always more than that

I’m the holy book I’m a bunch of lies where’s the man who thinks can judge me

I’m the Father I’m the Devil too and no one can bring me down

There’s a name of my own so that I am not unknown

But I don’t know other people names

I am shy I’m afraid there’s no language I can speak

I can hardly leave a trace

I’m so famous insignificant where’s the man who thinks can judge me

I’m a human being the creation’s king and no one can bring me down

I’m gonna give you love

I’m gonna give you love gonna put it on a train

Put it on a ship or send it by the plane

I’m gonna give you love gonna give you all the love you never had

I’m gonna give you love gonna bring it at your door

Throw it through the window or pass it through the wall

I’m gonna give you love gonna give you all the love you never had

I’m gonna give you love (I’m gonna give you lovin’)

I’m gonna give you love (I’m gonna give you lovin’)

I’m gonna give you love (I’m gonna give you lovin’)

I’m gonna give you love (I’m gonna give you lovin’)

I’m gonna give you love gonna put it in your ear

The only thing you’ll hear that love is always near

I’m gonna give you love gonna give you all the love you never had

I’m gonna give you love gonna put it in your mouth

It will be such a sweet love you’ll never spit it out

I’m gonna give you love gonna give you all the love you never had

I’m gonna give you love (I’m gonna give you lovin’)

I’m gonna give you love (I’m gonna give you lovin’)

I’m gonna give you love (I’m gonna give you lovin’)

I’m gonna give you love (I’m gonna give you lovin’)

I’m gonna give you love I’m gonna dance all night

Naked in the street oh baby where’s my pride

I’m gonna give you love gonna give you all the love you never had

I’m gonna give you love you’re gonna like it too

But even if you don’t baby what you’re gonna do

I’m gonna give you love gonna give you all the love you never had

I’m gonna give you love (I’m gonna give you lovin’)

I’m gonna give you love (I’m gonna give you lovin’)

I’m gonna give you love (I’m gonna give you lovin’)

I’m gonna give you love (I’m gonna give you lovin’)

I’m gonna give you all the love (I’m gonna give you all the love)

You never had (you never had) you never had (you never had)

I’m gonna give you all the love (I’m gonna give you all the love)

You never had (you never had) you never had (you never had)

Tonight, today

The city is empty again and I’m alone for one more time

Why is everybody gone I think I’m going to cry but…

Tonight tonight

I’m waiting for a brand new day

Today today

I hope that there will be no night

Some scared and weary shadows are the only moving things out in the street

I’m looking through my window but I don’t dare to open it ‘cause…

Tonight tonight

I’m waiting for a brand new day

Today today

I hope that there will be no night

I can hear nothing I can’t see fear has covered everything

But I’m gonna dash into this wall I’m not gonna give in ‘cause…

Tonight tonight

I’m waiting for a brand new day

Today today

I hope that there will be no night

Tonight tonight

I’m waiting for a brand new day

Today today

I hope that there will be no night

Revolution

Well the sun ain’t shining and that ain’t no kind of joke

The sky’s about to cry behind the smoke

But there’s a girl that laughs as she’s walking down the road

Sending out a strange light of her own

She’s a revolution not a firm solution but it’s better than those silly toys

In the early morning all her pride and glory will be executed with her boys

Where there’s fear and danger she keeps laughing out loud

Some people seem to like her some they don’t

In her only hand she is holding a black bird

Singing songs of weird and unknown words

She’s a revolution not a firm solution but it’s better than those silly toys

In the early morning all her pride and glory will be executed with her boys

Now her hand is cut and the bird has flown away

No one seems to hear what she could say

But a shadow in the sky it is coming towards them

The black bird is returning in her head

She’s a revolution not a firm solution but it’s better than those silly toys

In the early morning all her pride and glory will be executed with her boys

She’s a revolution not a firm solution but it’s better than those silly toys

In the early morning all her pride and glory will be executed with her boys

Oh I’d give my life to see that bird fly over my blue sky

Oh I’d give my life to see that girl come rest into my arms

And we are running all the time we are running all the time

‘Cause there ain’t no place to hide

And we are running all the time we are running all the time

‘Cause there ain’t no place to die

And we are running all the time we are running all the time

‘Cause there ain’t no place to hide

And we are running all the time we are running all the time

‘Cause there ain’t no place to die

Train to North

I took the train to North feeling so strong so strong

Yes I took the train North feeling so strong so strong

And my dreams went on still going on on on

And those dreams coming along keeping me strong so strong

I’ve got a headache and a bad throat but I’ve got bourbon on my coat

I’ve got a headache and bad throat but I’ve got bourbon on my coat

Open the window and the wind brings me the perfume of her skin

Brings me the hope brings me the tear but doesn’t bring her back here

And those dreams coming along keeping me strong so strong

And those dreams coming along keeping me strong so strong

And when the train got there I saw her long blonde hair

And when the train just got there I saw her long blonde hair

And her green bright eyes looking as cold as ice

Suddenly I miss my home ain’t gonna travel anymore

Hard place

So many years I’m waiting for to be a serious man

But all the chances of my life are gone and gone and gone

Finally now I understand there’s not an easy way

You’ve got to bleed to take your risk and still there’s much to pay

Ohoh this place is a hard place

Ohoh this place is so bad

Ohoh this place is a hard place

Ohoh yeah yeah yeah

You’ve got to search deep down inside to see what you really want

And when you find you’ve got to fight you must be really strong

It takes its time it needs much pain to make it till the end

Don’t lose your goal don’t run away you’ve got to hit your hand

Ohoh this place is a hard place

Ohoh this place is so bad

Ohoh this place is a hard place

Ohoh yeah yeah yeah

Ohoh this place is a hard place

Ohoh this place is so bad

Ohoh this place is a hard place

Ohoh yeah yeah yeah

Overdose

Enough to destroy the strongest union of lovers

Holding all evil in a sweet woman’s face

Spending all our lives looking for an overdose

Spending all our lives just like an overdose

Drowning the daughter in her mother’s water

Strangling the mother with her husband’s hand

Spending all our lives looking for an overdose

Spending all our lives just like an overdose

I really don’t care what my angels are saying

To tell you the truth my demons have all control

Spending all our lives looking for an overdose

Spending all our lives just like an overdose

Spending all our lives looking for an overdose

Spending all our lives just like an overdose

Maybe sometime

I’m watching myself inside this odd little bottle

Is that my face or is it just my back

I’ll try to drink me but the bottle starts running

I know that myself wouldn’t let me do that

Days in the darkness nights full of light

Maybe sometime may be some time

I’m walking alone and the rain keeps falling

The water’s so strange it blinds my eyes

I open my mouth let the rain come inside me

I’m seeing again but now the rain has stopped

Days in the darkness nights full of light

Maybe sometime may be some time

Enough is enough I feel I reached the bottom

The morning that comes I’ll change my life

But I have some hours till I leave my old habits

Give me my glass I’ll drink to that

Days in the darkness nights full of light

Maybe sometime may be some time

Days in the darkness nights full of light

Maybe sometime may be some time
